Dale Cottage is situated in the village of Burley in Wharfedale, by the spa town of Ilkley - voted the 'Best Place to Live' by the Sunday Times 2022. It truly is a beautiful part of the country!The spacious, newly renovated cottage features accommodation with beautiful countryside views (top floor) & quiet street views plus a private garden. It has free WiFi, Sky glass and free parking. Dale Cottage has 3 double bedrooms, a funky new kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine, flat-screen smart TV with Sky Glass with a large social island with quartz worktops. There is a beautiful bathroom fitted with a bath & thermostatic shower. The lounge is cosy & well equipped (inc games!). Towels and bed linen are provided at the property.

We stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for the 5 of us staying with our dog. The house was very clean, cosy and had everything we needed. The guide that was sent before, detailing things for the house, was also helpful. Everything worked and we had a very comfortable stay.

Lovely cottage that has recently been renovated with plenty of space for a family. Well furnished throughout with a good sized modern kitchen and bathroom that were all very clean. Great location 2 minutes walk from the centre of Burley in Wharfedale and it’s pubs and restaurants. Station is also only a 10 minute walk away with trains into Leeds city centre. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The spa town of Ilkley is an immensely popular destination for walkers and cyclists. Located on the northern tip of West Yorkshire, it is the official starting point of the 84 mile Dales Way Trail, which runs all the way up to Bowness-on-Windermere. The Cow & Calf Moors are 5 minutes drive away & the area is classed as the start of The Dales (lower Dales). It also provides an ideal base if you wish to visit the Dales National Park. Bolton Abbey, Settle and other areas are close-by, and highly recommended to visit.
The property is 21 km from Leeds Town Hall, Trinity Leeds & Leeds University is 21 km away, as is First Direct Arena . The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport, 10 km. 21 km from Royal Hall Theatre, and 21 km from Harrogate International centre. Train station is km away in Burley serving Ilkley, Leeds, Bradford & beyond.
