Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Just a short walk to the beautiful Lake Opuha. Bring the boat, jet ski and fishing rods. Less than 30mins to Mt Dobson Ski field and Fox Peak ski field. The township of Fairlie is 10mins drive away and 40mins drive to the stunning Lake Tekapo and Roundhill ski field. Fully fenced section on 2 acres, plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats. The house is modern and full of light. Big bi-fold doors open up both living areas for you to enjoy indoor/outdoor living. Enjoy the stunning mountain views of The Two Thumb Range and Lake Opuha. Kitchen dinning and lounge are all open plan in one very large room. Sitting in front of the huge open fire is the best place to be on a winters day. Internal doors open from the main living area into another living area this gives everyone enough space to do their own thing. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. 2 rooms have an ensuite and queen size bed. Another 2 rooms have superking bed. The other bedroom is smaller and has a double bed.

We had a lovely stay at Jolie’s place. The house was awesome! The photos don’t don’t do it justice. It’s a great house for a big group of people. Great communication with Jolie and everything provided. We’ll definitely be back!
Jolie's place is beautiful. Very quiet area and the house is well stocked with amenities. Kitchen was great to cook in and had many basic items that we needed. Overall place was clean and suitable.

Absolutely stunning home. Well furnished with air fryer, oven, stove, plenty of lounging space, a large shared bathroom and 2 master bedrooms. While we were staying the heat pump was broken which meant we couldn’t use the AC or dryer but this was communicated to us in advance. Jolie the host was very responsive. The views are most wonderful from every bedroom but especially the dining room. It’s a bit far from Lake tekapo (> 30 min drive) but definitely the best part of our nz holiday.
The first thing that stood out was how spacious both the house and the property was. The photos definitely don't do it justice. Lots of room to spread out and great privacy. We really enjoyed the overall vibe of the place. The only feedback I would give is to recommend having a few more pots and pans available to use on the beautiful stove. And a welcome book/guide with information on things to do in the area would be a nice touch. But overall, we highly recommend staying here if you have the chance! Sad to leave

Ashwick Flat is a small rural settlement in front of Lake Opuha. Just a ten min drive from Fairlie a small town with supermarket, cafes, service stations, pharmacy, hairdressers, beautician and some fabulous clothing stores.
There are stunning rivers and beautiful scenery all around you. Go for a drive or walk to the lake, there are picnic areas there for you to enjoy.
