This house has a great location and plenty of space, but a few odd elements that make it less than ideal. First, it's clear the bedrooms aren't finished yet—they have beds and basically no other furniture or decor. It's strange because the rest of the house is pretty clearly finished and well-designed, so it feels like the walking into an empty dorm room instead of a rental property. The beds themselves are a bit stiff. As Maryorie noted to us, her and her family live in the basement. Sometimes we could hear them talking, disembodied voices echoing up through the vents. It was a little... weird. We didn't have any negative interactions with them at all, but the situation seemed a little odd, especially because they were signed in on the TV to Netflix/other streaming apps and it sometimes felt like they had moved downstairs to make room for us. All that said, the house is beautiful, the location was perfect, and the kitchen was wonderful. Lots to like.
