The Deluxe Room #2, located upstairs, is decorated in country decor. Offering a Queen size bed, this room has it's own private bath, a gas fireplace, satellite TV, and a writing desk. The upstairs porch offers rocking chairs to enjoy the view of Potts Creek and the surrounding mountains.

One of the “best kept secrets in Virginia”! Looks like the pictures (even better actually), spotless, private, beautiful. Hostess was very informative and a delight to visit with! Detailed road trip book in the room which tells things to do in all directions, complete with miles back/time, hours, contact information, etc. Also lots to do, see, hear (Babbling Brook) and smell (Flowers in bloom) walking distance. Highly recommend the swinging bridge restaurant and general store. If you go to the Greenbrier check out the President’s Cottage if you’re interested in history. Then go just a little out of your way to see The Humpback covered bridge in Covington. Highly recommend!!!

Paint Bank is an unincorporated community in northern Craig County, Virginia, United States. It is located at the intersection of State Route 18 and State Route 311 northwest of the town of New Castle, the county seat. The village is located between Potts Mountain and Peters Mountain. Located in close proximity to the Main Depot Lodge is The Swinging Bridge Restaurant and Paint Bank General Store. The Swinging Bridge Restaurant is a great place to stop for a home cooked meal. They operate on limited hours so be sure to check before planning to visit!
