Our stay at Katherine's place was so special. We rented the place to spend the last couple of days we had with our son before he went to boot camp for the Marine's and he loves to fish so we wanted a place on the river. Everything about the property was amazing - only thing better would've been a hot tub, but of course you can always fill the tub in one of the bathrooms if you want :) The open floor plan was perfect for our gathering to watch a movie one of the nights and the kitchen had everything we needed (I couldn't find a noodle/spaghetti spoon which would've helped the one night we cooked spaghetti but we made it work!) One of my favorite parts was that we could open the doors to the porch and hear the river. (if you do that just remember to turn the a/c off). Because it was cool at night we opened all the windows in the rooms and slept with the sound of the river. It was perfect. I'm already trying to find an excuse to go back!

From the first moment we saw this beautiful cabin, we fell in love. The road to the house is a little adventure, but it‘s really worth. We loved the style in the house. Everything was tidy and Katherine was so nice to provide us with the most important things. That‘s very comfortable when you come from abroad. We can really recommend to book 5 or more nights, Chattanooga and Atlanta, also a lot of State Parks are not far away, so you can do a lot of things. Our best moment was the pit fire at the river with marshmallows, chocolate, cookies and beer/wine :) We would love to come again.

Katherine is an amazing host!! So helpful when you have any questions:) This place was beyond beautiful, the pictures honestly don’t do it justice!!! It’s a great place for you and a couple of friends to come for a weekend getaway!
