Vijay's place was exactly as described and a perfect hideaway from the busy centre of Madurai. The neighbourhood feel was great. Getting an auto to the centre via Uber was easy enough (the ride takes cca 10 mins) but coming back It took a couple of attempts (slow pick ups mainly). Directly opposite Vijay's is a pharmacy that also sells biscuits and drinks and there are a few other little shops round the corner for fruit etc (open till 11pm). I slept like a LOG - some of there other reviews mentioned noise but after 9pm there was very little going on in the area so noise was not a problem. I would recommend this as a very honest place to stay - super simple and clean and very well priced. Thanks Vijay, see you next time!

Logement conforme aux images. Petit mais propre. Ventilateur bruyant et chambre côté rue (bruyant également). Ouverture de la porte compliquée. L'assistant du propriétaire répond très rapidement et aide sans souci.

Nestled in a safe neighbourhood, I enjoyed my stay here, was also able to walk to the main road at any time of day/night and it was peaceful. Host was also very proactive and accomodating.

je recommande ce logement. parfait si vous souhaitez être à proximité du cœur de Madurai tout en restant dans un quartier un peu plus calme et moins bruyant.
