Viadar's cottage is really lovely place in beautiful location in Elverum . Vidar and Melinda are great hosts and very nice people !!!!!! Ideal place to stay ,if you want to be close to all road traffic connections( from Oslo to Lillehammer ) and enjoy natural type of living in wooden log house.Also great place to enjoy cross country skiing in Norway. For sure we will come again if there will be opportunity Daniel

This cabin is so special, for its location, for its story, and for its host. This would have been a 5 star stay for the cabin in the woods, right next to cross-country ski trails, with a bonus sauna, even if Vidar hadn't been an amazing host, but he was! When we arrived, he invited us in for tea. He loaned us skis and boots and even let us accompany him on a ski trip up the mountain. He let us bottle his home brewed beer with him, and took us to visit his chickens. Do not miss your chance to stay here, it will be a huge highlight of your trip. And if you need groceries during your stay, go to Asia Mat in town! amazing selection of Asian ingredients!

Wir waren für einige Nächte in der Hütte von Vidar, es hat uns sehr sehr gefallen! Vidar war steht freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Er warnte uns vor der Kältewelle und gab Tipps für hilfreiche Apps in der Gegend. Bei der Ankunft war die Hütte perfekt vorbereitet! Ebenfalls hat er uns mit Langlauf-Ski ausgestattet und uns sogar noch einen kleinen Kurs gegeben. Ein hervorragender Gastgeber! Die Sauna und das Badezimmer sind sehr sauber und makellos. Gerne wieder!
