The Inn is located just over the drawbridge that connects Salisbury to Newburyport, making us just a 10 minute walk to downtown! We're situated right on the Merrimack River which gives us great views of the water and the floating vessels that pass by.

For getting around Newburyport, you can easily walk to downtown from the inn within 10 minutes, but if you prefer to drive then there are several paid parking lots throughout the city. Green Street Lot is the largest and most central so we recommend starting there. Street parking is also an option but can be very tiresome in the summer months.
When driving to the beaches (Salisbury, Plum Island, Hampton), be aware that many parking lots are cash only and fill up very quickly in the summer months. On hot days, we recommend arriving to the beach in the morning around 8am to secure a spot or you can wait until around 2pm when visitors start to leave.
Busses: You can take the Merrimack Valley (MEVA) busses to Newburyport and Salisbury beach. Closest stop is very close to the inn in front of Nancy's Marshview Cafe.
