This place wasn’t the worst to stay in but it said that there was free breakfast and showed inside the building but you were only limited to your room hotel part was fully closed but upon arrival we went into our room worked fine no issues there but then we walked around the building to notice the maintenance door was open for our whole stay and we noticed one room was left unlocked door wide open for one whole night with the access key hanging right outside the door waiting for someone to walk right in we went back in the morning and it was still like that I would say this is ok for one night if your expecting a bedroom and that’s it

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The location was great. I would definitely recommend.
I found this to be quite pricy. Close to 300 a night for 2 people is expensive considering there was no kitchen. I had no idea how to check in, there were no instructions on how to check in or check out beforehand. I was grateful someone was there when I showed up at five to help me understand how to open the door and check in. The check out time was also too early. 10 AM is pretty early to check out. If check in is at 4 , check out should be 12. The coffee station was nice, but it was pretty bare with no sugars or creamers.
Super clean and comfy. Its an odd area but quiet and safe. Worked fine for us.

The Inn is located just over the drawbridge that connects Salisbury to Newburyport, making us just a 10 minute walk to downtown! We're situated right on the Merrimack River which gives us great views of the water and the floating vessels that pass by.
For getting around Newburyport, you can easily walk to downtown from the inn within 10 minutes, but if you prefer to drive then there are several paid parking lots throughout the city. Green Street Lot is the largest and most central so we recommend starting there. Street parking is also an option but can be very tiresome in the summer months.
When driving to the beaches (Salisbury, Plum Island, Hampton), be aware that many parking lots are cash only and fill up very quickly in the summer months. On hot days, we recommend arriving to the beach in the morning around 8am to secure a spot or you can wait until around 2pm when visitors start to leave.
Busses: You can take the Merrimack Valley (MEVA) busses to Newburyport and Salisbury beach. Closest stop is very close to the inn in front of Nancy's Marshview Cafe.
