Fitzroy is an eclectic suburb with a rich history etched into its old pubs and bars, narrow streets and terrace houses, long-lasting retailers and modern wine bars that have kept the old decor. You’ll find various characters within Fitzroy’s nooks, including students, young professionals and the older generation that have called the community home for decades. 2 bedrooms both with luxury hotel grade queen sized beds. Blow up mattress for additional 2 guests. Both bedrooms and lounge room have 55 inch smart TVs with Netflix, YouTube etc. Large 2 x 3 seater sofa and 8 seat dinning table. Outdoor dining table and front garden bench seat to watch the world go by.

Perfect location in the heart of Fitzroy. Spacious place that felt like a home base right away. There were a lot of toys for our son to play with. Sasha was very helpful and supportive, although we didn‘t meet. Would definitely stay there again.

In the heart of Fitzroy but still quiet. Sasha’s place was perfect for our family’s visit.
Though just around the corner from Fitzroy Town Hall, the house was located away from the busy main streets but in perfect walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and shops. We had plenty of room in the two very generous bedrooms and although the kitchen was a little snug, we were able to spread around the large dinner table and living room. Fantastic location if you’re wanting to roam Fitzroy and surrounding areas by foot (or take the tram into the CBD & Docklands).
We had a great stay at Sasha's for the Taylor Swift concert! Fantastic location, easy walk to local cafes and restaurants. Be sure to dine at Cugini for the most amazing gnocci!!

Fitzroy is an eclectic suburb with a rich history etched into its old pubs and gay bars, narrow streets and terrace houses, long-lasting retailers and modern wine bars that have kept the old decor. The suburb was once long associated with the working class and was known to have a bohemian vibe but became a casualty of gentrification in the ’80s and ’90s. Yet despite undergoing urban revitalisation, many heritage buildings and Victorian-era architecture have lasted through the decades and play a key role in the area’s ambience – right next to the street art.
You’ll find various characters within Fitzroy’s nooks, including many students, young professionals and those of the older generation that have called the community home for decades. It’s economically diverse too, having one of Melbourne’s largest public housing complexes while also putting up some of the most exxy rent in all of the city. It’s hard to pigeonhole the area but, after all, why would you want to?
