Really great place to stay! Hosts were wonderful and the house was beautiful and had lots of fun things to do!
We enjoyed our stay in Apollo Beach! We came into town for a wedding, so didn’t get to enjoy the town much, but the house was perfect for our 9 guests! The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more for our weekend.
Our stay was really wonderful. The home was exactly as advertised. The rooms were spacious and clean. There were three bathrooms for all of our needs (please make sure to check out the outdoor bathroom near the pool area!) The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of linens and towels, a laundry room. The home was cool during the day and warm enough in the evenings. It was lovely having breakfast by the pool and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything one would need. Of course I wish the pool was heated but I think the property owner is honest about this. The neighborhood was safe, well maintained, and pretty. It was also an incredibly quiet neighborhood for a peaceful sleep. We enjoyed the beaches Anna Maria, Clearwater, St. Petersburg about 45 minutes or so away so every day was filled with adventure. Austin & Mikayla were so incredibly communicative, responsive, and kind. They answered every question within minutes and did so with grace and patience. Highly recommend!
The house was very big. The pictures and house looked the same. FYI the master does not have outlets easily accessable to the bed. We struggled to get my husband CPAP plugged in. Bring an extension cord if you want an outlet by the bed. Also the 1 lamp (only light in the master) is so dim I could not read a book. I had to use my phone flashlight both nights to read. The back porch had a lot of shade to sit in. It was very quiet and lots of birds to watch.
We enjoyed the time in Florida but are a bit disappointed about the house. It was not quite clean. There was the obvious dirt but it needs a basic cleaning (under beds, sofa, oven, etc). Positive was that after a complaint we got a compensation and someone came for cleaning the obvious dirt right away. In general it is not in the best shape as it got aged. An example is the shower head with wand which is defect/ leaking, lights do not have a light bulb. The major bedroom has an issue with the AC as even in March it is too warm to sleep while the rest of the house is cold. Also disappointing was the pool which we did not use at all. The temperate was way under the temperature of the ocean where we went for swimming. This of course takes away a lot of quality while spending a vacation. All in all it was okay but in our opinion disappointing especially considering the costs.
