Itapema is a municipality located on the north coast of the State of Santa Catarina. One of the most beautiful resorts in southern Brazil. Colonized by the Portuguese at the beginning of the 19th century, the city has had a strong connection with Azorean culture since its beginnings, preserved to this day with its fishermen and artists and folklore groups.
