lovely place, Dave and Sue are out of this world, very friendly and helpful
The perfect place to escape the city. An old world feel with beautiful surroundings? You truly cannot beat it. Lovely hosts, lovely space, and even better than the photos describe.
This old castle site was a great launching point for a couple days in County Meath north of Dublin…easy to see the Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, Newgrange, Knowth, Drogheda, Slane, and so much more…Sue and Dave are genuinely nice people who love their property and make you feel a part of its story…we were visiting as a family of four from the US who loves Antiques Roadshow with a sense of adventure and this place was a ton of fun for our weekend visit.
Sue and Dave were very friendly and welcoming. They were very responsive to communication. Castle was clean and exactly how it was described. Loved the peace and tranquility. I give my stay 5 stars.
Lovely stay at a place full of character. Great parking and space for the dogs. Eircode brings you straight to the location. Would have no hesitation returning if we are in this part of the world again.

We like People-Family, our own youngsters, their partners, cousins, nieces/ nephews friends, colleagues, workmates et al...! We cannot live without Beauty, Ethics, Music, fabulous/interesting Food, Films/ Books and Love, we strive for all of the above-sometimes we do fall short.......and,oh yes, Money, hard to live without that! We love France and then we discovered Italy-Oh My God, sooooo beautiful. We visit London frequently as we have Family are there. We really love our guests to feel "they're in their Granny's" when they stay here. (that would be a pretty cool Granny, mind you!) Its a drop- in-have-a-cup-of-coffee- kind of place anyway. My Life motto is "everybody has needs and everybody's needs can be met".
