Had a great week at the Double Knot, April 13-20. The cabin was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable with everything we needed plus some extras that the grandkids enjoyed. Location was great, it was easy to get to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National Park. Host Rachel was very responsive and communicative.
Rachel’s place is perfect and so is she. The home is exactly as described. No surprises except for the snacks that she left us on the counter which was incredible after a long drive from Pennsylvania. Trendy decor with more than enough space for our family to relax while enjoying “home.” Everything is clean and fresh. The home is convenient to Pigeon Forge AND Gatlinburg. The newly added DG Marketplace was also so convenient to grab groceries or the necessities that may have been forgotten. Rachel’s communication is detailed, proactive, and better than any host I have ever experienced.
Rachel’s place was such a peaceful retreat! There were such thoughtful details from the cute coffee bar to the luxurious bedding to the towel warmer near the hot tub. Rachel was also very responsive to any questions that we had.
Rachel’s home was absolutely stunning, and looked exactly like the pictures. It was pristine and homey, with blankets and decor that made us feel right at home. Custom art and designs were stunning! The beds were so comfortable!!!! My kids (9 and 11) loved the triple bunk beds. The secret cubby hole and personal lights let them have space for everything they needed right in their bunk :) The hot tub was great, the well thought out porches to enjoy coffee in the morning, the fireplace - just perfect!! The house is about 15 min from Pigeon Forge and 30 min from Gatlinburg, so it was close enough to be near the action but quiet enough when we came home at night. Rachel was a wonderful host, responsive and polite - we would absolutely recommend her homes to anyone traveling to TN! Thank you!
Great weekend getaway! Would highly recommend the stay and would love to stay here again!
