I had high hopes for a wonderful holiday with my kids, but unfortunately our experience was quite disappointing. Upon our arrival, we discovered that the AC was not functioning, despite the hot and humid weather. I promptly contacted the landlord, but due to it being a holiday and the high cost of repairs, she only able provided us with fans and a dehumidifier at night after 9pm. The house was already quite damp due to the moisture from the spa, and when we used the grill, bad odor permeated the entire house, making it difficult to breathe. The structure of the house also hindered proper air circulation, and opening the doors resulted in an influx of insects. The bedding was damp and uncomfortable, causing my children to have a restless night and cry until dawn. Given these circumstances, I felt it necessary to request a partial refund, but I have yet to receive a response. Also the grill and other cooking tools were dirty, and the noise from nearby campers bothered us til midnight.

Great location, ample room for us and great hot tub/fireplace. Only issue was no propane for the grill so just make sure that is double checked before you arrive if you plan to grill out.

The waterfront location is perfect for starting or ending a river trip on the southern section of the Shenandoah River. The views on the bank of the river were beautiful.

The location is beautiful. Right on the river with mountain views. There is another cabin close by but it's still pretty private. There's a tv/roku and wifi so there's still opportunity to watch a movie at night. Food lion, Walmart, some fast food/restaurants are about 20 mins away. I would recommend buying extra water for drinking & cooking. I think it's well water and there wasn't any filtration that we noticed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would come again. Thank you. :)

This was the best! Spent a world wind 24hr for my daughter’s birthday and it was great!!! We def will be back in the summer to soak up some river time!
