Only 30 min away from Sevilla, this fully renovated townhouse is located in the center of a small village with all the necessary amenities around the corner. Away from the tourist crowds, this is the place to relax in the shade in your private patio, explore the various beaches (45 min), the national park Doñana (30 min) or go hiking and taste the best jamon in the world in the mountain range Sierra de Huelva (50 min). The house is a two storey family townhouse with private patio, located in the center of a small village, with supermarkets, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Away from the tourist crowds of Sevilla (but within a half hour car - or train - ride!), you get to experience the real Andalusian lifestyle. Go with the flow, live your life outside, enjoy the best food for very reasonable prices and explore the wide variety of landscapes that this part of Spain has to offer. Over the last couple of years we have put all our love and dedication into renovating and extending a traditional Andalusian townhouse, making it a place where old and new meets, and we and our guests would feel at home during all seasons. One of the key features of the design is the open, flowing space on the ground floor, where all the spaces are connected. The big glass sliding doors enable to extent the dining area into the patio, and truly merge outside and inside. A double height dining space emphasizes the spaciousness of the design. Once you enter the hallway, there is a bedroom (with double bed) to your left, including private bathroom. After the hallway you enter the living room, where you will find a couch, tv and a wood stove for the more chilly winter evenings (or just for the great atmosphere!). The living room then flows into the kitchen. Fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, induction cook-top, microwave, coffee machine etc.), this kitchen offers you everything to have big family dinners or lunches at home. Have lunch or dinner outside in the patio, or inside at the big table that easily seats 8 people. Probably the biggest feature of the house is the big orange tree in the middle of the patio, which arguably grows the best oranges in the whole region..! When you book the house in the winter months, you should definitely try them for yourself! In the back of the patio there is a big retractable sun screen with a big corner sofa, that allows you to relax or have a siesta in pleasant temperatures when the sun is too intense. The little shed in the back houses an extra bathroom (toilet and shower), plus the laundry room. When you take the stairs to the first floor, you will find yourself in a large open room, with 2 doors on each side. Behind those doors you will find two bedrooms (one equipped with queen size double bed, and one kids room with two single beds that can be combined in a double bed), an office space and a fully equipped bathroom, with access to the outdoor shower area. The office space enables remote working, with wifi, an extra monitor to plug in and plenty of desk space. The sofa in the office serves as a double bed, once unfolded. All the spaces on the first floor are equipped with air-conditioning that enables you to cool or heat the space. All the bedrooms have sun blocking screens on the outside, and curtains on the inside. Solar panels on the roof provide all the electricity needed in the house. Throughout the home you will find contemporary furniture and design that we have brought from our house in Milano. A lot of furniture in the house is hand made by local artisans to fit the house. The artworks are painted by the home owner, Esperanza. This carefully curated mix of styles, traditions and crafts bring a unique character to the home that aims to make you feel right at home.
