Rick and Cindy's home is in a perfect location for exploring New Paltz and the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were added bonuses -- as were Cindy's freshly-made muffins. Having fresh fruit, milk, coffee and other necessities available was a very nice touch. The setup of the space is different with an outdoor screened-in living room/porch and one bedroom adjacent to the kitchen, but it worked perfectly for us -- and was exactly as it had been described so it wasn't a surprise. Rick was always available and came outside to greet us and help with access to the pool, etc. The rooms/furnishings were as pictured.

This was a great retreat during the SUNY New Paltz graduation weekend. We loved the small details like fresh fruit, homemade muffins, and other breakfast items. Lovely location.

Very peaceful. We loved the gazebo. If the weather had not cooperated the set- up would not have allowed for our group to have a place to hangout.

Ricks place is in the best location in NP close enough to walk to hiking or to food in town The backyard is incredible and the jacuzzi so unique and fun ! It was the right amount of quiet but closer to town than anything I’ve gotten in the area Rick was very quick to communicate and extremely accommodating. He is there on the other side of the house if there is any issue. But his side is esperare from where the guests stay

We stayed here with Rick being such a great host. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were very clean as well as the pool and hot tub we were able to enjoy. For a prime weekend in August, this is such a find. Rick’s place is highly recommended for a stay in the New Paltz area as you cannot beat the location.
