Perfectly nestled on the waterfront shore between Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island, is the serene getaway of Agate House. Whether you want to relax away the hours watching birds and seals outside the windows; or get out and explore all that the gorgeous Kitsap Peninsula has to offer - Agate House is the home base from which to do it all! With stunning views, curated décor, and easy access to amenities, this gem of a house is where precious memories will be made that will last long after you depart. Agate House has been thoughtfully furnished and prepared with guests’ comfort in mind. A calming neutral palette allows the ever-shifting outdoor view to take center stage. Why compete with what nature does so well? Natural materials and textures form the basis of the aesthetic, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for gathering with loved ones. With plenty of space to spread out or be together, everyone can get what they need out of their stay. As you enter the main floor, you’ll be greeted with the view through the light-drenched living room out to the waters of Agate Passage. The living room is spacious and includes a dining table and benches that can seat 8-10 adults. Moving through towards the kitchen, there’s another small dining table that seats 4 people. The kitchen includes a propane range for cooking up a feast, along with dishware service for 12, and plenty of tools and gadgets for your culinary pursuits. Plenty of kitchen and pantry storage mean you can bring all the snacks your heart desires. Also on the main level is a large room with two queen size beds, a hall powder room, and the primary ensuite. The primary ensuite enjoys a gorgeous view of the water from the queen size bed, along with a huge walk-in closet with pocket doors. A large walk-in closet with pocket doors allows plenty of room for luggage storage, or to set up a travel crib. *At this time we do not provide a travel crib on site* We recommend getting familiar with the floorplan layout so that the arrangement of beds and baths is fully understood. Downstairs, in the daylight basement, there are two more bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. The smallest room is a cozy, cocoon-like space that provides a quiet, dark environment for sleeping. The larger bedroom features a view out of the corner windows to the water, along with a dresser and large closet with luggage racks. Near the bedroom, there’s a full bathroom with double sinks that are open to the hallway, while the toilet and tub/shower are in a separate room. The large rec room features a 55” smart tv pre-loaded with streaming apps. *Please note that for the time being, this is the only TV in the home* Stairs leading up from the entry way provide access to a rooftop deck, which currently houses a picnic table. As the warm weather season returns, the deck will be enhanced with additional seating and sun protection.
