Exactly what our family of four needed! This location allowed us to unplug and spend some quality time together. Great location to hit Skyline Drive from the Thornton Gap Entrance.

A great cabin, with a great responsive host. The deck is amazing, close to the river, and a good view of the mountains!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Shenandoah lodge cabin over July 4th weekend. The kitchen was well-equipped and the amenities made our stay quite comfortable. The front decks at night were the perfect way to wind down after a day of kayaking and watch the stars and the Buck Moon. We hope to return to the cabin soon.

Great cabin. Highly recommended. Kitchen has plenty of basics and the cabin has loads of books, games, DVDs. Loved sitting on the terrace watching the fireflies. BBQ great. We went kayaking on the river which was really fun and the Shenandoah River Outfitters is very close to the cabin. Wish we could have stayed longer! We attempted the road up to the cabin but as we don’t have 4WD we had trouble, so parked just as you turn off the main road, before the hill, as there is space.
