It was wonderful to have a house to spread out in during our travels. The house offers lots of space with a large living and dining area, kitchen, and good sized entry (with storage for those raincoats!) on the ground floor, and three good sized bedrooms on the next floor. The location is good - lots of playgrounds, just by bike path, 10 minutes walk to the train station, a short bike ride (or 10 min walk) to the supermarkets and central area. For families with children under 10 the house is child safe, however, there are many items (lamps, decorative items) at risk of breaking, although the host was good about an accident we had. Otherwise it is a good space for families.

This was a great stay. We were a family from the US looking for a long-term stay convenient for traveling around the Netherlands. Boudewijn's place was perfect for us. It's only about ten minutes walk to the train station, and from there it's easy to get to Leiden, Den Haag, Amsterdam, and elsewhere. We discovered some really lovely things to do nearby that I don't think would have occurred to us a foreign tourists if we had been staying closer to bigger tourist destinations. The center of Voorschoten is a short walk away. Vlietland, Duinrell, and the Strand Waasenaareslag were all delightful, and are all easily reachable by bike. We appreciated that Boudewijn had two loaner bikes for us, and we were able to get more from Besuyen in town. We really loved the garden. The house was very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. It was clear we were staying in their home which they use regularly. The bedrooms had heavy drapes which were good at keeping out the light.

The house was very lovely and cute. First I had trouble finding it, as there was also another place in Haag with the same street name and number. The house is walking distance to the train station which is very convenient! Close to the house there are beautiful paths and parks to walk through. Internet, TV and other electronics worked well. During our stay the weather in Haag was mostly around 20 Celsius so the house stayed in good temperature, but on the days when the weather was closer to 30, it got quite warm, especially for sleeping. Beds and couch were convenient to lay on! It was nice to have plenty of space in the house . Kitchen was fine, except that ants kept coming in and every time we forgot food on the table, ants showed up. Bathrooms and shower worked as should. The backyard was AMAZING! There was so lovely to sit, relax, eat, drink wine and just enjoy life. Lots of beautiful flowers and plants, loved it! Recommending this place and would be happy to return some day! ❤

Het was in een woord geweldig. In deze omgeving kom je geheel tot rust. Boudewijn en Ineke zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. De communicatie verliep vlekkeloos. Mocht je nog op vakantie willen dan raad ik aan om dit huis te huren.

this is a great place to stay. Plenty of space, everything is there for a nice stay. The bathroom is particularly beautiful. We spent her 3 weeks and had no regrets. Good price considering the season, quiet neighbourhood, shops near by and also the trainstation. Nice garden to drink your morning coffee. Only point of improvement is maybe the cleanliness. The floors were a bit dusty but there is a good vacuum cleaner to maintain it a little. Communication with Boudewijn is easy and he is very responsive
