The location of the house is fantastic, there is easy access to your own beach and it is an easy walk for kids. The beds are very comfortable and each room has an en suite bathroom. The pool is also great. In general, the house has not been well maintained with numerous small frustrations, the downstairs floors need to be cleaned but it is a beach cottage after all. Dave was great and very responsive. Overall we had a good stay!

We had a really wonderful family holiday. The space is huge and was perfect for our Christmas gathering. The house is weathered (to be expected being so close to the ocean) and probably needs a bit more upkeep but the view was beautiful and the beds comfortable. The major negative is that it wasn’t very clean. The floors were particularly dirty. I noticed when my 9 month old had been crawling around for and his hands were black and grubby. I think the place needs a proper powerful mop job done as the tiles feel grimy. There was long dark hair in the bathrooms, crumbs under the dining table and food stains on the kitchen floor. Perhaps the floors just weren’t cleaned by the team before we arrived. It didn’t dampen our spirits though. We did a quick Hoover of the place and enjoyed our weekend so much. A highly recommended coastal stay. The house is spacious, modern and comfortable, even for large family groups. There is a large private pool, and each bedroom is ensuite. The sweeping ocean views from the many decks and ocean facing rooms are incredible. The beach and tidal pools are quiet and easily accessible, even in peak period. Dave, the caretaker, was exceptional in his prompt and friendly assistance. A few minor repairs would elevate this to 5-star level.

The house is in a beautiful location but unfortunately the house is very badly maintained (peeling walls, broken balcony wires, cracked glass, broken aircons, lack of side lamps in some rooms, stove not in proper working condition, broken shelves in everybathroom so no where to put toiletries and general rust on blinds and doors. The door handle in the mainbedroom was completely off and we could not close the door. )The house wasn't clean with visible dirt in showers and floors and cleaning staff had minimal cleaning products. The house does not supply any basic household supplies eg black bags in dustbin or spare toilet paper (only 1 toilet roll -1ply on arrival ). There were used beer bottles and popped balloons in the bushes from previous guests. The house is also very cold and they have no spare blankets and very thin duvets. We had small children and a baby with us and with a broken balcony wire ballistrade we could not use the balcony incase they fell. We relayed these comments to Marc and received defensive excuses and a rude response.
