We were so lucky to stay with Puri and Paolo with our 4 month old son. You can feel Puri's warmth and excitement from the moment you meet her, and we instantly felt at home. Puri and Paolo are amazing hosts, and are truly what Airbnb is all about. Puri makes the most delicious preserves among other foods and shared them with us. She made sure we were fed and taken care of for our entire stay. There are numerous fruit trees on the property which add to the magic of staying here. If you are ever in Portugal, do yourself a favor and book this very unique and special experience with Puri. We were so lucky to spend time with Puri and Paolo on their farm, and created memories to last a lifetime.

I can truly say that this was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. (And I experienced a lot of Air Bnbs). Puri and Paulo made me feel so welcome. I was traveling alone and after Porto I really wanted to see the Douro Valley and the vineyards. This was the best decision. The whole Douro area is just stunning and definitely worth a visit. And Puri's house makes it just perfect. After a long drive through the Douro Valley, Puri and Paulo welcomed me with delicious cheese and ham and most of all very tasty red wine and a 43 year old port. The best port wine I have ever drunk. In the morning I jogged around the village and it was just beautiful, in the evening they showed me the bakery of the village where they sell bread only in the evening and it was so nice. All the recommendations Puri and Paulo gave me were perfect and I enjoyed my trip through the valleys to the fullest. My room and bathroom were very clean and the backyard was just beautiful and a perfect place to relax. They showed me their wine cellar and where they make the delicious jam we had for breakfast every morning. All of Puri's food is super delicious and worth trying. Once I'm back in Portugal I will definitely go back there and can highly recommend a stay here! Many thanks to Puri and Paulo for being so welcoming. In German there is the term "Gastfreundschaft", a combination of guest and friendship. And that is what I found here. Thank you very much!

Saavuimme Tuaan Portosta junalla, reitin sanotaan olevan yksi maailman kauneimmista ja sitä se todellakin oli! Purin ohjeiden mukaan hankimme eväät ja nautimme uskomattomista maisemista. Puri toivotti meidät tervetulleeksi paikallisin herkuin, leipää, kinkkua ja makkaraa, sekä tietenkin hyvin vanhaa viiniä maistellen. Talo on upea, sielukas ja täynnä historiaa. Olimme onnekkaita, sillä viinitilalla oli sadonkorjuu vierailumme aikana. Pääsimme poimimaan rypäleitä yhdessä kyläläisten kanssa. Sadonkorjuu päättyi yhteiseen Purin tekemään herkulliseen lounaaseen, pöydässä istui 14 ihmistä syömässä. Saimme tavata useita kyläläisiä sekä Purin ja Paolon ystäviä, aitoja ja rakastettavia portugalilaisia. Ihanaa paikallista ruokaa, viiniä, lämpöä, kauneutta ja keskusteluja, mitä muuta ihminen voi toivoa, täydellistä! Olen sanaton sen kaiken hyvyyden ja ystävällisyyden edessä jota saimme kokea. Meidän piti olla Casa do Becossa kaksi päivää, mutta jäimmekin kolmeksi päiväksi. Olemme matkustaneet paljon, tämä oli uskomattoman hieno ja unohtumaton kokemus.

One if the best Airbnb experiences we ever had - the rooms themselves are not big, but this minor drawback is completely overshadowed but the incredible hospitality of Puri and Paulo - the meals and the conversations we had were definitely the highlight of our vacation in Portugal.

Puri and Paulo are amazing hosts, they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable and help you with planning your daytrips. The dinner was delicious and fun, Puri and Paulo are great company! The appartment and house are very nice, everything you need is there. The swimming pool and garden are perfect to relax. We would recommend anyone to stay at Puri’s and Paulo’s place.
