We are a quick hop on the inner loop to the Arts District (N.O.T.A.), the Strong Museum of Play, and other theatrical and cultural attractions. The Genesee River Walk is just down the road and the beaches are an easy 15-20 minute drive. Relax in our creative, zen space designed especially for you. While improvements to the exterior and lower floors of our home are still in progress, this 3rd-floor Airbnb space is all-new construction. The space features an artistic blend of brand new renovations, while also honoring the old charm of this home, built in 1911. Much of the original wood remains in the accents, custom vanity, cupboard and countertop, as well as the floors. We even kept the original chimney. You will find vaulted ceilings and loads of natural light provide an open and spacious feel to this uniquely designed one-room space. Allow the large, super-comfy, queen-sized bed to ease your senses into rest and recuperation. Whether you bring home some take-out or want to whip up something simple to eat, the kitchenette provides a microwave, a multi-purpose toaster/convection oven, and an adorable mini-fridge with freezer. Additionally, you'll have an electric kettle for brewing hot water to make tea, or to use in the French-press for morning coffee. Drink fixin's and simple snacks are available as well. We provide eco-friendly disposable options as well as a few standard mugs for use during your stay. Quick breakfast options also available--May vary, but usually include oat meal, breakfast bars, toaster waffles and fruit when handy. Pull out the hideaway stools from below the table provided for dining, or just plop into a comfy chair and enjoy the 42" smart TV while you eat with a convenient TV tray.
