Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway situated on a working sheep farm, accessed down a long country lane. The cottage offers amazing countryside views but is close to the coast. It is within walking distance of many interesting places including Downhill, Ballyhacket and Castlerock and is a good base to travel within the Causeway Coast, Donegal and Rathlin Island. There are several excellent golf courses within a short driving distance including Castlerock and Royal Portrush. The property is a detached house with sitting room, living room, dining area, kitchen, larder and toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there are three bedrooms (bedroom 1 has a king sized bed, bedroom 2 has a king sized bed, bedroom 3 has two single beds), a bathroom with bath and toilet and a separate shower room.

We spent 2 days at Christine’s beautiful farm house over the Easter break. The kids, our Great Dane and my partner and I enjoyed the space the house had to offer for all of us. We enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the stunning garden. Evenings by the large open fire. My daughter even had a relaxing bath, in the fabulous tub. The family and I visited near by castle rock for walks on the beach, a dip in the sea, coffee, ice cream and fish and chips. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The dog even picked a spot right at the Bolton of the stairs. Fantastic property, great location. We will certainly be back. Thank you for having us.
This is our second stay at Christine's beautuful home.. We will be back in may... Christine is very kind and left Easter eggs for kids.. Cake.. Fruit cake.. Milk.. Biscuits... More than kind....its so quiet and peaceful....we all just love it.. ❤️
if you're looking for a quaint old Irish cottage on a farm, surrounded by rolling fields with a lovely open fire and all the modcons you can think of then look no further and book this property before the secret gets out. Christine is an amazing host and couldn't do enough for us without interfering at all. Her cottage is beautiful, having been refurbished sympathetically to retain the old world charm. Far enough away from civilization to have peace but close enough that you have bars, restaurants and shops ashore drive away. Book it now. You won't regret it!

The cottage is set within typical farmland of Northern Ireland and is an excellent area for walking and cycling. It is also close to the fabulous Causeway Coast which is renowned for excellent beaches and sea water quality, golf, North West 200 motorcycle races, gliding and the Game of Thrones.
You can walk or cycle on the local roads. There is a cycle path from Castlerock (just over a mile away) to Coleraine and then to Portstewart. Cycling is also possible on local beaches and there is a cycle trail at Garvagh Forest Park which is about 30 mins drive. A very good base to drive to the Causeway Coast and also the ferry to Donegal when it is running. There is an excellent train service from Castlerock to Derry/Londonderry and Belfast, from where there is a connecting train to Dublin.
