Our neighborhood is well traveled which helps with security though it is generally very quiet. We love being able to see the stars very clearly on most nights even from Main Street!
Our home is within walking distance to most of our local events as well as our local gym - Downtown Fitness. It is easy to get on the highway to head to larger cities as Main Street is synonymous with highway 183.

There are sidewalks from our house leading to downtown where you'll find The Ramona Theatre, Pioneer Townsite Museum, Crawford Collection, and Jenny Perry's Mosaic Studio. It is easy to bike and ride around town to visit the Rotary Park or Civic Center Park, Frederick Country Club and golf club or the Frederick Municipal Swimming Pool. The city has Red River public transportation services that typically have to be pre-arranged. Uber services have been procured from the Lawton, OK airport, also Wichita Falls, Tx.
There are several other shopping locations Box Inc which is south of the Bungalow on 183 it has a beautiful collection of gifts, toys, western attire, & Boots (a must check out place) also Frederick Pharmacy and gift shop, they carry all your OTC products and a variety of gift items. Deeryard Boutique & Salon also Deeryard Nutrition all located in same building. Frederick Ace Hardware, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Napa Auto, Showstring, A&G's Hobby and Pawn, and some antique shops. Frederick Post Office is located at 120 East Grand.
