Our neighborhood is pretty quiet. However, in the village which is located 1.5 km away there are very sympathetic bars and coffee shops as well as restaurants and traditional taverns. There are small traditional villages nearby and various beaches. Places like St. Andreas, Korakovouni etc. There are nice mountain villages nearby since Astros is located on the foothill of beautiful Mt. Parnonas. Also right next to the estate there is the Moustos lake that you can visit which is a beautiful wetland protected by law. You can swim in its clean cold water, very refreshing in the summer.

You can move in and around Astros by taxi if you wish. Walking is easy though since the area is flat and the farm is just 20 minutes away on foot. There are buses to move to nearby villages. You may wish to visit Nafplion which is just 30 km away. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece. Very colorful and picturesque. Very lively at night too!! You could also try Leonidion one of Greece's most beautiful traditional old villages which is about one hour drive to the south. Driving around is easy and you do not need to worry about parking while in the estate. There is plenty of space. In case you need to rent a car you would have to do it in Athens or Nafplion which is much closer.
