Magnolia cottage offers character and comfort in the heart of Clare. The call of kookaburras to start your day, you're in the perfect location to experience all that Clare and 'The Valley' have to offer. Just a short walk to the main business area, you'll find cafes, award winning restaurants, boutiques, and all other town conveniences. Mr Mick's restaurant/cellar door, the Riesling Trail, bike hire, tennis courts, gym, pool and oval are literally at your doorstep. Newly renovated, this semi-detached cottage is nestled near the Hutt River. A well equipped dinette/lounge provides for basic self-catering with a microwave. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and furnished only with queen sized beds. The cottage is a part of the host's residence but your privacy is guaranteed. There is a resident cat so he does consider the yard his turf.

Lea is an exceptional Air BnB host and her place is fantastic. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and there were even electric blankets on the bed! The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a great shower. All of the linen and towels were soft and smelt lovely and clean. There were lovely extra touches from Lea such as bandaids in the bathroom (which one of us needed to use!) and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower. It’s in a perfect location to walk into the town and to hire bikes and cycle the Riesling trail. The only reason it might not suit everyone is there isn’t a full kitchen for guests who want to cook on their stay, however this wasn’t an issue for us at all and there are plenty of great restaurants in Clare to enjoy! Lea was very responsive over message and provided us with some great recommendations. Thank you so much, if we’re ever back in Clare we would love to stay again!

perfect house for our short visit to Clare. ideal location for going around the town, Riesling trail and minutes walk from the oval. clean, spacious for a family with two kids. Lea is great host and easy to communicate. hope to be there next year again!
We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was stunning! I wish we could have stayed for longer but sadly could only stay one night. Lea was very friendly and had great communication both ahead of our trip and after we arrived.

You're in the perfect location to explore Clare by foot or bike. The Riesling Trail is 400m away and Mr Micks winery and restaurant is less than 200m from your door. Clare hosts 3 pubs, award winning restaurants, popular cafes, boutiques, an art collective and gallery, library, parks and playgrounds all within walking distance. Take a walk around the wetlands located near Knappstein's Winery or bring your golf clubs for a hit on our beautiful course. Nearby Blyth has a x2 theatre cinema (just 12 mins from Clare and a hidden gem). Around the valley consider the recently completed Clare Valley Wine and Wilderness Trails which includes 100kms of hiking tracks that allow visitors to explore beyond the popular wine routes. The Clare Wine, Food and Tourism centre is also award winning and worth a visit particularly on Friday wine nights and of course the plethora of award winning wineries set in picturesque settings from Auburn to Clare.
Clare is manageable by foot, bike and car. There are two bike hire businesses and one within metres of Magnolia Cottage. The Main St parking tends to be limited in the more central section but plenty of space is available in carparks one street either side of the main st. Hi, I’m Lea! I’ve lived in the Valley for 24yrs and have 3 amazing adult kids who’ve given their blessing to transform their space into your space. I love to travel, anywhere and enjoyed a year on the Aussie track in 2005. I just love learning about new places, cultures and history. I also love music and have been known to sing alot. I love to camp, hike, photography and tennis. I also love live music.
