Presenting The Apple Store, a characterful cottage set within the beautiful grounds of Monk Haven Manor. This well-sized property has all the charm you’d expect from a traditional cottage. The perfect cosy place to stay, sleeping two people, The Apple Store has everything you should need. On entering the property, you’re met with the rustic stone walls of the open plan living room/kitchen area. The comfortable sofas are set in front of the gorgeous log burner, perfect for cosy evenings in. Enjoy the widescreen TV as you relax in front of the fire, or do a spot of cooking in the kitchenette, complete with an electric hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink and a fridge. There’s even a pull-out dining table for two. On the ground floor you’ll also find the modern bathroom with shower for your use. Upstairs you’ll find the mezzanine bedroom, with a comfortable, King size bed and dressing table. This space is full of natural lighting in the day and is a cosy sanctuary at night, perfect for a romantic getaway! Outside of the property, you have your own private courtyard with outdoor furniture including a table and chairs and a hot tub for your enjoyment. The Apple store is the ideal spot for a couples getaway, with an abundance of character and charm and a stunning countryside location, you’re sure to have a tranquil stay here.

Absolutely loved this little cottage, so peaceful and fabulous walks, lovely pub within walking distance and a lovely walk round to Dale
The cottage is beautiful though the pictures will make you think it’s bigger than it is. HOWEVER, it is still an amazing place to stay. The reception in the area is bad, 3G and Wifi but if you’re looking to disconnect, it won’t be a problem at all. The Hot tub was the star feature for us! Great great place to unwind. The only downside could be that though aesthetic, the woodfire made the place either too hot or it was too cold without it or as it would start. The provisions were good!
The location was beautiful, and peaceful. There is a little stream which runs through the property which you could hear trickling away. We had brilliant weather and did lots of walks all the way to Dale. There is a pub which serves really good food called the Brook Inn just 15 mins walk away. There is not a lot else in the area by way of amenities, which is exactly why we chose the location... quiet serenity. Just be mindful of that if you forget some essentials. Meal prep is a little difficult in the accom. as the kitchenette is very small to manoeuver and counter space very minimal. The hot tub is lovely after a day out walking and was just what we needed to unwind. Unfortunately the shower was not operational throughout our stay which meant we had to wash using the washing up bowl which was not ideal. We paid £700 for 4 nights which is quite expensive all told, but the surrounding area is gorgeous which made up the experience.
Beautiful little place to stay. Access would be an issue if you were not steady on your feet or elderly as you need to bring bags etc from the car park across the garden with sloping areas and steps. Owners did say that they were looking at making alternative access to the property. Had an issue with the tv on our first night which was totally out of the owners control as weather seemed to have affected satellite dish but they still turned up next morning bright and early with a brand new smart tv.😁 The bed and bed linen are super comfy and we slept like logs. Despite the little niggles it did not spoil our time in this beautiful property and area. The location was beyond lovely. Great walks from the door. Little beach all to yourself and amazing hot tub. Perfect after long walk.
Lovely place, short walk to the coastal path which can be either a short stroll or a good mile or two walk. The house has a warm cottage feeling as well as quiet. Parking was ample as well as finding the place. Overall a really nice peaceful place to stay!
