It was difficult to find the light switches that worked as many didn’t. The house had a musty smell which was bad enough in the main floor bedroom that no one wanted to sleep there. It didn’t seem as though the floor had been mopped. The curtain hooks were hanging off of the rods and there were slats in the window shutters which were broken. There were creepy jack-o’-lanterns on a wall in an upstairs bedroom that had been poorly painted over. The whole house was eery. It is very old and has a lot of potential, but it needs a lot of clean up and fixing. We had no choice but to stay the two nights for thanksgiving with my family. I was going to rent again in December but will cancel. There is no way we stay again. The only good part was lots of towels and the bed linens, thankfully, seemed clean. Renter beware!!

We were in town for a game, we didn’t stay long but this was perfect for the amount of people we had!
