The train runs every hour from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, and from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekends. The fare is only $1 and the journey takes about 16 minutes. You can catch the train from the Heredia station, located near the central park, or from the Colima station, located in the northern part of the canton. The train will take you to the Estación Atlántico in San José, where you can connect with other buses or taxis. Walk: The residential area has amazing trails to walk and they are super safe, you can also safely walk to the mall, just be careful with the cars around you.
