The actual location of Gabriela's apartment is beautiful, nestled as it is amongst artist studios and workshops. Very colourful and quite quirky. Loved the view from the mezzanine bedroom across the rooftops and down onto the leafy courtyard offering a perfect little breakfast sunspot. Easy walking into the old city with its many attractions and cafés and restaurants. A short walk across the El Ejido park to the metro (safe, very clean & cheap) for venturing further afield. There is also a taxi rank just one minute's walk away. Taxis are very reasonably priced. Gabriela's place is equipped with everything required for simple food preparation and cooking. There is an efficient heater if it is cold. The main bed was incredibly comfortable and the sofa turns into a great bed too. Gabriela was super responsive to all our enquiries and offered some great suggestions for places to visit. Being met by Gabriela at the airport was a fantastic start to our trip. From there it just got better.

Una estancia muy acogedora. Gaby está muy pendiente, te sugiere movilización y lugares donde adquirir comida. Recomendado. Muy bonito su espacio.

Very nice spot close to the heart of Quito. The hosts were really nice and we would definitely return.

Gabi war sehr flexibel und hat mich noch spätabends mit dem Auto von der Metro-Station abgeholt, obwohl ich nicht einmal darum gebeten hatte. Proaktiv und freundlich, auch alle Menschen die nebenan in den Ateliers tätig sind.
