We had a wonderful stay at the Cary Arms & Spa at their Rose Cottage which was so quaint and quirky! It had lots of bedrooms (more than we thought) and everything was great - nice, clean bathrooms, great kitchen amenities for our family, and spacious living areas for our family of 4. We were walking distance down a steep hill to the restaurant for breakfast, and even though this was extra charge, it was great value for money with buffet continental breakfast + a cooked breakfast. Staff were incredibly friendly including Tracy who personally showed us to our cottage, and Linda at the restaurant who took great care of my family during our meals. She provided us with everything we asked for and was a great host. Food was delicious at the restaurant. We had 2 breakfasts, and a lunch. Great service, lovely surroundings and just a short walk down to the pier where they gave us some fishing rods to have a play. A great weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would stay there again!

The most incredible view & a wonderful cottage to stay at. We did kayaking and went for dinner at the Cary arms. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Staying at Rose cottage has been really lovely, we really enjoyed it. The house was so clean and beautifully decorated. We were provided with complimentary bread, butter, jams, milk, and fruit as well as a little hamper with crisps and cereal, which was a lovely touch. All the beds were comfy and there are plenty of board games to keep you entertained! The outdoor space was perfect, and with wonderful sea views, the steep steps up to it were definitely worth it! The property also had a pizza oven and bbq, along with a higher decking area with a giant chess board table. The only 'negative' was that there was no tea towel for the kitchen, but we learned to live without! Check in and out was a smooth process. We cannot wait to come back!
