This property is managed by a large company, who is using Airbnb to direct traffic to its main website. You are unable to talk to the host / property manager directly, and everything has to be managed through their external website. The company did not state on the Airbnb listing that a deposit was required, and that they would only release the location of the listing once this had been paid via their external site. Initially we thought this was a scam, but after paying via their external site, it all seemed to work out okay (although we haven’t received the deposit back just yet). The address on the AirBnb listing was not the correct address for the property, and the property was located a little further out than expected. I think AirBnb needs to look into this. The property was overall good, but the pool deck needs to be repaired as it’s about to collapse and is a bit dangerous. The place was fine, but for the price (comparatively in the area), it could do with a refresh.
