Welcome to this 3-bedroom gem that is tastefully decorated and nestled on a cul-de-sac street steps from the beach and the lake. Pickering’s Nautical Village transports you to Cape Cod with many shops, spas and restaurants. Downtown Toronto is a 35-min car/train ride. Other amenities include the mall, zoo & the casino. Don’t forget your beach gear & more. THE BEDROOMS: Three bedrooms 1. Master Bedroom: Located in the back of the house and has direct access to the backyard via large sliding doors that open onto a small deck. There is plenty of sunlight that comes through in the afternoon as the windows face west. You can experience tranquility and relaxation and hear birds singing in the spring and summer months. The sliding doors have blinds installed to partially block the light and provide privacy. There is a queen bed with crisp linens, comfortable soft pillows and a cozy duvet. Storage: There is a closet with mirrored sliding doors, and a solid wood dresser for all your belongings and a nightstand. The closet offers coat hangers and shelving and plenty of room to keep your luggage(s) tucked away. Lighting: There is ceiling lighting and a small lamp on the side table to offer you a customizable lighting option. Charging your devices: There is a power bar drill mounted on the back of the side table to offer you convenience when plugging in your devices to recharge. Access to the Backyard: You can access the backyard through the sliding door that opens onto a small deck that steps down to the backyard. The backyard will be nicely done up in the Spring & Summer and Fall seasons and is shared space with the owner. 2. Second Bedroom: aka The Sailing Room Also located in the back of the house and adjacent to the master bedroom, this room offers sliding patio doors that face west allowing plenty of natural light. However, there is a large mature tree outside of these windows that partially blocks direct sunlight in the summer months. The room offers unique access to the backyard in the form of a Juliet Balcony. There are also blinds available in this room. There is a queen bed with crisp linens and comfortable soft pillows and cozy duvet. Other features: A 3-seater couch is available in the room. This is not a pull out couch and cannot be substituted for a bed. Storage: The closet is smaller in this room with shelving installed that offers a convenient way of storing your everyday items. Lighting: There is ceiling lighting and a fan offered in this room and a large floor lamp that umbrellas the armchair. Charging your devices: A power bar is placed underneath the side table, next to the bed. 3. The third Bedroom: This room is slightly smaller than the other two rooms but large enough to feature a queen bed. The windows face south and will allow plenty of natural light through. There are blinds and drapes available for this window. Storage: There is no storage in this room. The small closet has been locked for housekeeping purposes. Lighting: There is a ceiling fan and light installed in this room. Charging your devices: A large power bar is placed next to the bed for charging your devices. Hallway Closet: There is a closet in the hallway where extras like an iron, first aid kit, extra blankets and sheets, yoga mats and towels are stored. The blankets are stored in plastic packaging for hygienic reasons. We kindly ask that if you use them, please DO NOT put them back in the packaging. We wash them after each use. THE BATHROOM: Located on the same floor as the bedrooms making it easily accessible. The vanity is slightly taller than normal. There is a stand-up shower in the bathroom and no bathtub. There is a shower seat and fixed grab bars installed in the shower. THE KITCHEN: Fully Equipped Kitchen Whether you're a seasoned chef or simply enjoy preparing a home-cooked meal, our kitchen provides you with everything you need for a delightful and memorable dining experience. Modern Appliances: Modern appliances include a Kenmore stainless-steel refrigerator and freezer, an electric oven, an over-the-range microwave, a stainless-steel dishwasher and a countertop gas range. Counter Space: Our countertop will offer you enough space to create delicious meals with plenty of room for chopping, mixing, and preparing. Cookware and Utensils: Plenty of cookware, utensils, and kitchen gadgets at your disposal. From non-stick pans to sharp knives, we've thought of everything to make your cooking experience seamless. Coffee and Tea Station: Kickstart your mornings with our dedicated espresso machine with finely ground premium quality coffee. Whether you're a seasoned barista or a coffee novice, our espresso maker is designed for easy operation. If you need instructions on how to use the expresso machine, we are happy to help. We also have a Keurig machine with a variety of coffee pod flavours for coffee lovers who enjoy the simplicity of Keurig. For our tea lovers, we offer a variety of tea bags and loose tea options with an electric kettle and teapot to make the best-steeped tea in the morning or afternoon. Dining Sets: Our dining sets are restaurant quality. Wine, Champagne, and Margarita glasses are available for your favourite beverage. Spices and Condiments: Essential spices and a variety of condiments are provided, allowing you to add flavour and creativity to your dishes without the need to purchase additional ingredients. DINING ROOM: Welcome to our cozy dining room Features: Solid wood, designer dining table with ample seating for four guests, ensuring everyone can comfortably enjoy a delicious meal together. Natural Light: Let the natural light pour in through large windows in the living/dining room, and enjoy the beauty of the front yard and our quiet street as you dine. Lighting and decor: There is designer lighting that hovers over the dining table creating a cozy ambiance. The artwork that hangs on the wall contributes to a welcoming atmosphere. LIVINGROOM: Chic and Cozy Living Space – Living Room Features: The living room offers ample seating for everyone, ensuring a comfortable and cozy experience for relaxation or entertainment. There is a 3-seat sofa, a cloth armchair and an electric leather recliner with a built-in USB charger. There is hardwood flooring throughout the living and dining area. A comfortable rug and two ottomans are placed in the living room for added comfort. There is no coffee table in the living room by design because we believe this makes the room more accessible allowing guests to move freely. Instead of a coffee table, three small gray stackable side tables can be moved around and used to hold drinks and snacks. There is a 58" Smart TV providing access to a variety of streaming services. Please use your streaming service to log in and enjoy your shows. We have also placed a small selection of books on the bookshelf in the corner for your reading enjoyment where you can also find a variety of board games. Natural Light: Natural light and sunshine flood the living and dining room in the mornings as the windows face east. The sun is much lower on the horizon in the winter and moves up throughout the summer months. There are drapes installed for these windows and you can control the amount of light that comes through.
