Jessica greeted me and showed me where my room and the bathroom/toilet was and then disappeared to get on with her own things. She had a 'stay out of the way' approach which was fine for me as i was merely using the location for a place to sleep at night. The location was okay, you can access Amsterdam Central stations in 30-40 minutes by taking a bus and then then metro - easy to navigate with google maps. The room itself was clean and the single bed was comfy, the room was a bit on the smaller side but i was okay with this. The room also comes with a desk in case you need to do some work. There was wifi available but it was not strong enough for my Iphone to pick up, I could access it via my laptop although it wasnt super fast. The family have a little child in the house, she was adorable and the noise was not an issue for me but something to consider. The only issue for me was that i was woken up at 5am by someone going to work. All in all, it was a cheap stay so no complaints

I was staying for one night at Jessica‘s. The bed was really comfy. The bus station is only a few minutes away. It‘s not far from the „Skaanse Schans“. It‘s a family‘s home, if you don’t have a problem with children around it’s a good accommodation for a short stay.
