Ostlers is a charming Grade II listed Cotswold holiday home which sleeps six guests, in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. This impressive former coaching inn dates back to the 16th century when it used to house weary travellers, and still oozes original character and style with exposed beams, oak panelling and a Cotswold stone fireplace complete with wood burner. This family friendly home benefits from a designated parking space and a secluded garden which is separated from the cottage by the parking area. This beautiful outside space is an unexpected sanctuary and is the perfect place to unwind after exploring the bustling High Street. The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Stephen was an incredible host and was proactive in giving all the information we needed before we arrived. Ostlers is a beautiful property and we instantly fell in love with it. Very comfortable and well equipped. Can’t wait to return!
We had such a wonderful few days, the cottage was beautiful and a perfect location for our weekend plans in the very lovely Burford. Stephen was so helpful and just made everything really easy, the cottage was so clean and tidy and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us, we will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend! Excellent location and the property had everything you could ever need for a short break. Beautiful small private secluded garden a short walk from the property. And everything you need on your doorstep shops, restaurants, bakeries etc. Highly recommended
We loved our stay in Ostlers—the home is beautiful, with charming, historical touches and attention to every detail. Very, very clean. (I’m picky about this and don’t always have the same definition of “clean” as others do. This was perfect.) Right on the main street , we could easily walk to shops and restaurants. The cars driving by the front bedroom did get loud around 7:00 every morning. The assigned parking spot was handy and it was easy to get the key from the lockbox when we arrived. Burford is a beautiful little town!
A lovely blend of private owners with some holiday lets in an unspoilt medieval Cotswold town. All amenities are within walking distance, restaurants, pubs, cafes, post office, co-op.
