Enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located, 1800's character home with a large back yard, two fire pits, a babbling brook and country feel. This dog-friendly, "shabby-chic" duplex is directly on the trail system and city transit, and offers so many extras your every need will be met! An enclosed veranda leads to a small and cozy open kitchen/living area, accessing one large bedroom on the main floor, and two extra-large bedrooms upstairs. Families and business travelers welcome. You'll have your own private use of this duplex, with a cozy kitchen-living area branching off into three very large and comfortable bedrooms on the 'inside', and a spacious natural wonderland on the 'outside'! Comfortably sleeps 6, in king, queen and double beds, with the option for two extra guests by pulling out the 'sleeper' sofa and by using an extra kids-sized floor mattress in the master bedroom. Two bedrooms plus the open livingroom/kitchen each have TVs, totalling three. The third bedroom also acts as a 'bonus' room in that the murphy bed turns into a wall cabinet, allowing floor space for any use you can imagine. We've left you supplies so you can set up your own designated Zoom studio, a gym or yoga studio, a conference table for business (or crafts table for kids), and a massage table and a massage chair for a DIY spa day amongst your group. Note that the listing says gym and designated office are 'separate' areas....they are not. It's just that this room turns into all those easily, and we've left you the supplies so you can! We can even arrange on-site reflexology treatments for you and your group, as the host runs a reflexology school. Outside you'll find a natural wonderland. Our gardens are not the cultivated and organized kind...nope! We like them kind of crazy, overgrown and wild...and in them you're likely to find blackberries, grapes, rhubarb and choke cherries...that surround two fire pits for your use. One firepit is close to the house, and the other overlooks the creek and back garden. Roast marshmallows to your heart's content while listening to the stream and watching our resident chipmunks play hide and seek. In the morning, enjoy a relaxing meditation in the hammock swing surrounded by grape leaves, and in the afternoon, stretch out for a nap with your partner, overlooking the water in our large double hammock. Prep for whatever outdoor activity you like, by packing your bathing suit so you can jump in the creek or in the public pool right next door, by packing your hiking clothes to climb nearby Curry Mountain or to walk the trails directly linked to our property, by packing your bikes for the bike jump park in the woods behind us, or by packing your fishing rods to fish directly from the banks of our back yard. Main Street is central to everything, with so many restaurants and pubs within walking distance, you won't need to worry about a designated driver...and if you head downtown instead, it's only a ten minute drive by cab or in your car.
