Our house in Pioneer, CA is perfect for 2 families (or a group of 10) to gather and relax after a day of exploring the foothills or mountains of Amador County. We are a family that loves the outdoors and we wanted a place that was close to our outdoor activities. The house was designed with kids in mind. Children have a space of their own and the adults can enjoy the rest of the house in peace. With little ones, sometimes a little separation can make the best vacation! The house is a 2 story home with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, dining area, and laundry in the downstairs bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on each floor, and each bedroom has a smart TV. The backyard has a open patio with BBQ grill and a table for 4. There is a large covered patio in the front of the house with a dining table for 6. The property is located in a small neighborhood in the forest. To enter the home there are 4 steps with a railing on each side.

My group and I had a different airbnb booked nearby but were given an incorrect lockbox code. We were stranded from 11pm-1am waiting for that host and airbnb support to help us check in. I messaged Robert and Amber around 1am and got a response right away allowing us to book their place. Not only did they respond in a timely manner, they were able to check us in immediately with clear instructions and pictures to locate the house. Thanks to them they turned what would have been a nightmare into such a great experience. Their place was extremely clean and spacious, great value for our money because there was more than enough bed/room space for our party of 10. They would have even allowed pets had we brought them. We loved the family of deer that would pass by the house as well. We highly recommend booking their place!

Our house is in a small neighborhood off of Hwy 88 called Rabb Park Estates in Pioneer, CA. There are 10 or so homes in our culdesac. Our street is fairly flat but the rest of the roads in the neighborhood are uphill/downhill.
Rabb Park Estates is in forest land so there are wild animals in our neighborhood. Most are harmless like deer, turkeys, and foxes; but there is always the potential of dangerous animals finding there way onto the property. We have not encountered any dangerous animals on our property, but there have been sightings of Bears and Mountain Lions within miles of the property. A section of the property is fenced-in to discourage animals from entering the property.
The neighborhood has paved roads and there is a paved driveway leading up the house. There is paved parking available on the driveway in front of the garage and on the side of the house.
