Cozy, comfy cabin 10 mins from the beaches of the Jurassic Coast. Summer swimming or winter waves, fossils and beach saunas. Secret garden romantic hideaway, or countryside base near West Bay. Lovely local walks and eateries, Bridport Saturday market. The area is very foodie and arty. Car/bike recommended. The cabin is in a large garden behind our house but you have your own deck and lawn. Private loo/shower overlooking your lawn just 10 strides from the cabin. NB. Both beds are raised. Comfy and cozy wooden cabin in the huge garden of a thatched cottage. Both beds are raised. One is up a ladder - sorry, neither are suitable for people with limited mobility. All the bed linen is 100% cotton and whenever possible dried in the sun. Your private shower room with basin and loo is about 10 steps from the cabin. Unlimited hot water for showers and a loo with a view! Luxurious bath towels are provided and you’ll also find beach towels in a bag ready for the beach. You have your own deck and wildflower lawn or you can explore the rest of the garden which has lots of spots to take a blanket and a book or watch the sun set over the horse fields next door, or the dragonflies playing over the pond. There’s even a trampoline up at the top - perfect for lying on to gaze at the stars, or have a bounce if you’re completely mad.

Great for a reasonably priced half term stay with our preschooler. Just like pictures (bathroom is much bigger and well equipped than we expected), and endless days out, beaches etc close by. Great pub in walking distance

Stayed 2 nights while working nearby and it was PERFECT! So tranquil amongst nature, private, clean and some of the comfiest pillows and bedding I've ever experienced in an air bnb - really made the difference. Would love to return, thanks Harriet!
This is such a special place! We (two couples) spent 3 perfect days at the cabin. It's tucked away in the garden, giving you absolute privacy, and the place is so cosy and homely. It's small but has everything you need nd it's in close distance to some gorgeous walks and a really lovely pub. Would definitely come back!
My family and I had a great weekend here. we had our two kids with us, 4 and 2. The four year old slept in the loft bed and it was so exciting for him! we also felt he was very safe up there. We brought our travel cot for our 2 year old and set it up in the living area. and yes our 2 year old kept wanting to climb the ladder but It was doable and we were out so much it didn't matter. It was a peaceful area and very clean and great place! perfect for what we needed and great distance from so many beaches and seaside towns. Also Harriet was super helpful and her guide was great! we did many of the things recommended, including the family friendly walk, and top recommended restaurant.

We recommend you come by car or bicycle as there is so much nearby to see and do. Or there are trains to Dorchester South, Dorchester West or Axminster and regular buses at the top of our road X53 and 31 (see schedules at First). We only have parking for two cars (or at most 3 small cars) on our drive but you can park elsewhere in the village as well. Easy access to the village from the A35 between Dorchester and Bridport. Nearest airports are Exeter, Bournemouth, Southampton, Bristol, London.

I don't usually bother with much for breakfast, more interested in recommendations for evening meals! Wifi is pretty important to me for work. I enjoy horse-riding, reading, movies and crochet!
