The cabin is beautiful, with lots of space and plenty of beds! It's set on a quiet, country road so it's peaceful. Our host was kind enough to leave lights on so we could find the cabin easily since we were driving in after sunset. They also left coffee, soft drinks and s'mores kits! The closets had plenty of extra blankets to take outside and enjoy sitting on the giant deck or to cuddle in front of one of the fireplaces. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything you need and enough table seating for everyone. They provide indoor and outdoor games which we got to enjoy. This cabin has everything you need for a quiet, relaxing vacation and makes you feel like you're at home. Our family fell in love with this cabin and the kids are already asking when we'll be back! We're so grateful to our hosts for sharing this bit of their paradise with us! Thank you!

Great place for a generational family weekend within a "country like" setting. Multilevel and roomy enough for each family to have their own space in the evening, as needed, with a common entry level space for all to share. If you can't find something to do at the Sunflower Lodge, you are not looking in the right places. Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the bubble wands provided, and our young Scouts displayed their talents in fire making for the evening fireside family time of Smores making. During the two days we were together, the young cousins bonded, and laughter could be heard inside and out. How could you not want this for your families? I highly recommend the Sunflower Lodge if you are in need of a break from everyday life. If you do it right, you will feel rejuvenated and you will have made lasting memories.

Our stay was relaxing and fun! Jim was extremely friendly and welcoming. We appreciated his quick responses and flexibility. We had no issues and would most definitely book again if life takes us back to valley center! Highly recommend!!

Sunflower Lodge worked out so well for us. We had a large group of groomsmen here for our daughters wedding and the lodge had plenty of space. Sleeping and bathrooms on three levels worked out great. The house looks just like the photo's, beautiful, not to rustic but comfortable. Easy to get to, quiet area but everything you need is nearby. Highly recommend!
