Highly Recommend! The place was in a great location with lots of people out and about! looked like some great restaurants around the area and a grocery store right across the street. There was not an air conditioning unit like i thought there would be but we just opened the window! Throughout our couple days in Boston, we were told the South End was a place many people didn’t like because of the homeless and at night it can get scary. however that was not true at all! We walked all around the area and there was no homeless and it felt very safe! Host was very helpful to help ship an item we left at the Airbnb back to us!
Easily walkable from Back Bay station on arrival and then depending which direction you go you can walk anywhere from apartment. Very active on comms and allowed us an early check in. Bed comfortable and clean, bath excellent.
Welcome to Boston's vibrant South End neighborhood!
The South End is a historic and culturally diverse neighborhood, known for its beautiful Victorian brownstone buildings and tree-lined streets. It's also home to a thriving food and art scene, with numerous restaurants, galleries, and boutiques to explore. The district is home to some of the most eclectic shopping options in the city, like Diseño, a shop specializing in South American furniture. With the neighborhood's easily accessible layout, all of the South End's shopping is within reach for the walker too.
As for attractions, Boston has no shortage of things to do. Check out the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking tour that takes you through some of the city's most important historical sites, including the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church. Or head to Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox, for a classic baseball game. Other popular attractions include the Museum of Fine Arts, the New England Aquarium, and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. And don't forget to try some of the city's famous seafood, such as lobster rolls and clam chowder.
The South End is also home to some excellent dining options. Barcelona Wine Bar on Tremont Street is the perfect spot for not only wine, but also a delicious meal of Spanish tapas. While the menu does change regularly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu - just make sure you add the Patatas Bravas to whatever you order. And don't be surprised when the bartender goes around the bar pouring drinks into people's mouths. It's a Barcelona staple. There are also lots of options when it comes to Italian food in the South End, including Cinquecento, Giacomos, and Coppa. Keep in mind that Giacomo's doesn't take reservations, so you may need to wait, but it will be worth it. Coppa is also quite small, so you should plan to reserve a table ahead of time.
The South End is a great neighborhood for dog owners, with plenty of parks and outdoor spaces for your four-legged friends to enjoy. Peters Park's Dog Recreation Space is a popular choice, and it was Boston's first city-sanctioned off-leash dog park. It features 13,000 square feet of space for dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors.
If you're looking for something new to explore, check out the Underground at Ink Block. This eight-acre highway underpass between the South End and South Boston has been transformed into an urban park, complete with pedestrian boardwalks, bike paths, and a dog park. It's a great place to spend an afternoon.
The South End is also home to the Boston Ballet, which performs at the Boston Opera House. If you're in town during the holiday season, be sure to catch the iconic Nutcracker performance, which is a favorite among Bostonians.
If you need to pick up groceries or supplies during your stay, there are several options nearby, including One Stop Convenience and South End Food Emporium, both located within a short walk of the apartment. There is also a Stop and Shop located a short drive away.
If you're looking to stay active during your trip, there are several local gyms to choose from, including South End Fitness Center and Equinox Dartmouth. Both are within a short drive of the apartment.
Finally, if you're looking for a convenient way to get around the city, you can use the Uber Eats code "eats-8yv1t" to get discounts on your rides.
The apartment is also located just 6 miles from Logan Airport.

Hello! We are Airbnb Queen! We started hosting a few apartments in 2015 and grew to be a small company with a love for hosting and giving back to our community! When Covid struck our world, we were at a standstill! We had to quickly learn and grow to make sure our health and cleaning standards were in line with those of the CDC. We remain dedicated to providing a happy and healthy stay for our amazing guests! We are partnered with a wonderful non-profit that specializes in providing housing for families in need of a discounted or free place to stay for the duration of their hospital visits. Most of these stays are for children under going treatment in our amazing Boston Hospitals. We are honored and motivated to helping those in need. If you are here for a hospital related visit, please let us know prior to booking! We hope we get the chance to host you!
