You only have to climb up or down a few steps, around 6 steps in total between the lift/elevator and the front door of the apartment. - The apartment has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. - Private Balcony with access from one of the bedroom's and from the lounge area as well. The worst experience i've had on airbnb, dented my confidence in using this platform in future. The opposite of "value for money". 5 star prices, but the apartment was anything but. This is a commercial operation, as opposed to a person owning the apartment and living in it themselves, hence zero TLC. The building is owned by a real estate company, the name is mentioned in the common hallway, which had the same plastic flowers and "decor" as the apartment itself. There are maybe 6 flats in the same building. The washing machine was full of mould. We spent 30 minutes cleaning it, before we could use it. Dryer didnt work. Lots of ants in the apartment. Myself and my kids woke up with ant bites. Raphael acknowledged this and said its the time of year. I lived in London for 15 years, and couldnt accept this "excuse". The shower was a nightmare, freezing with the odd spurt of boiling. Sent me a video tutorial. 330 pounds per night for a video tutorial on the shower?

Great place to stay in West London. The apartment is a good size, clean, nicely decorated. Well connected to various public transport links and walking distance to Notting Hill, Portobello Road, etc. Check in and out is very uncomplicated. Raphael was a very friendly host and gave some great tips for the area.

If you are coming from Heathrow Airport, for example, you can take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station and then walk to the Airbnb.
If you are coming from Stansted Airport, you can take the Stansted express train to Liverpool Street Station and then take the new Elizabeth Line to Paddington Station and walk to the Airbnb.
If you are coming from Gatwick Airport, you can take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station and then the circle line tube to Bayswater Station and then walk to the Airbnb.

The flat is located just outside of the congestion charge zone.
For parking during your stay, I recommend the car park of The Thistle Hotel Kensington Gardens located just behind the Shell Petrol Station on Bayswater Road. The address is: W2 3HL
Another alternative is the Elizabeth Hotel Lancaster Gate.
The spaces are suitable for vehicles up to the size of a large - (4x4). At this location, there is CCTV. The spaces are available 24 hours on all days. Please use post code : W2 3PN to get to car parking space directly.
