The Love Nest is a stand-alone cottage in the mountains west of Colorado Springs. We like to think of it as a cozy, couple’s retreat. And don’t be fooled by it’s tiny footprint, the Love Nest has everything you need for a romantic getaway. There is ample parking for any size vehicle, including RVs (no hookups) and trailers. A wrap around deck offers spectacular Mountain views. Lounge in the hammock, soak in the jacuzzi, or simply sit back and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the natural beauty that surrounds you. Step inside, and you’ll find a well-appointed apartment boasting curated decor and luxury amenities. The king-size bed is perfect for a good night’s sleep or a great night’s play. The wall mounted fireplace sets the mood and can provide radiant heat in the winter. The unit also has a split unit heater/AC, so you can be comfy no matter the weather. The kitchenette features a mini-fridge with a separate freezer compartment, ice maker, coffee machine, electric kettle, individual size blender, dishes, glassware, utensils, and bar set. We provide coffee, tea, and a number of amendments. You will find a first aid kit and cleaning supplies under the sink, should you need them. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, finished in soothing cerulean tile, and a toilet with a heated seat and bidet for the truly brave. Feel free to use the provided bathrobes and slippers (washed and disinfected after each stay). There is also a smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, some quirky reading material, and a games/puzzles. This is a small space, so storage is limited, but there is some in the blue bench at the end of the bed and in the fuzzy white stool next to it. Additionally, there is a wall mounted coat rack for hanging garments.
