Home to rescued animals and a collection of native orchids and plants. The A-frame cabin has floor to ceiling views with large sliding doors, patio, loft style bedroom, and full bathroom. This cabin is a hidden gem, with beautiful surroundings and great amenities. You can visit the farm, see animals and fruit trees. The hosts and farm workers are quite helpful and have excellent recommendations.

One of our favorite places we’ve stayed in Colombia. The house is beautiful, well curated and stocked with essentials. It has the privacy of its own gate and area on the property, yet only a short drive to town. The sounds of the jungle were amazing; We enjoyed seeing the exotic birds in the mornings. Luisa was responsive and super helpful. She even helped us figure out getting a speaker when we realized we forgot ours. We’d love to come back!
***PROS*** - Beautiful property - Comfy cabin - Cute, friendly animals at farm - Lovely tour of the farm - Kind, helpful hosts - Animals had lots of space to roam and be happy - We can tell they care about the land and the animals ***CONS*** - Neighborhood was a bit sketchy for walking because there are some mean dogs that aren’t fenced in around the neighborhood. Bring a walking stick and your big boy voice. - There was an annoying bird who was fighting his reflection in the cabin window every morning. —— Overall this was one of the best places we stayed on our entire trip through Colombia. Highly recommend.
Unique and private experience outside the city. The farm has amazing views and trails. The host was helpful and arranged taxi driver. We were gifted avocados and other fruits grown on the farm. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The fire pit and washing machine was a plus. This is a great place to enjoy nature and some quiet time.

Finca LaToya is nestled high up in the mountains that border the city of Pereira. Neighborhood is called Vereda Las Mangas. The pace of life in the neighborhood is slow, and other than the subtle reminder from cars or motrcycles heading up the mountain, you would think the property is all by itself.
You aren't far from scenic drives, hikes, waterfalls, rivers and a national park.
Pereira is well located for day trips to other attractions and beautiful towns in the region such as: Salento & Valle de Cócora, Santa Rosa & Los Termales, and Filandia.

Depending on your vehicle, 20 to 30 minutes away from Pereira, where 10 to 20 of them is up the mountain on a mostly unpaved road.
- Secured parking is available on property.
- We provide local taxi driver contact information.
- Buses and chivas operate in the area but with limited time schedule.
- Uber operates in Pereira and will drop off at the farm but it is less likely to schedule a pick up from the farm.
