Beautiful house with beautiful views! We loved watching lambs leaping from the kitchen window and across the fells from the garden and bedrooms. Well appointed and plenty of space for a big family. Everything was well maintained inside the house and garden. I would definitely recommend it! The only downside for me was that I felt a bit surprised at the point of booking that there was such a substantial cleaning fee so just be aware that the property overall is not as cheap as it seems when you are searching Airbnb site for properties. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
I stayed Laik’s olace with my children, 90+ year old in laws and our dog. Place was exactly how we’d seen in the photographs. Beautiful home, in beautiful surroundings. We had the added bonus of snow on the first night, so it was lovely being all snug in such a beautiful place, with everything you could need to hand. Very attentive hosts. Had provided so much information before our arrival, but we’re very quick to get back with responses to any questions we did have. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return again in the future. 🥰
Amazing stay at Yew Tree Cottage. The house was pristine and had all amenities you could think of. The views from the bath are very special! Guide from the host was ideal - we enjoyed the local recommendations including Keswick market, the walks and dinner at the Dog & Gun. Would love to come back!
The family and I spent New Years Eve here. We were looking for a quiet get away and we were not disappointed. It’s a great location for country walks and not too far to drive out to Keswick and Pooley Bridge. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
My family stayed here over Christmas and had a really fantastic time. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of character. The fittings are of very good quality, the home is spotlessly clean, and everything we needed was provided. The dining room and log fire especially made family meals special. The booking came with an online booklet of everything to expect from the property, helpful instructions and local recommendations. Laik were also very accommodating and responsive. We would highly recommend this property, a great place to stay. Thank you!
