Our Fish Hoek stay made us feel right at home with the most beautiful view of the ocean and mountain. We loved Uzair’s open plan home which made us feel right at home. The weather played along well, we experienced beautiful sunny days allowing us to have our morning coffee or evening glass of wine looking at the view. We experienced loadshedding, but were well equipped and prepared for it as Uzair’s home provided us with rechargeable lights. We also tried to make a fire in the fireplace inside of the house on our second night stay, although we experienced that the fireplace made the house smoky. There seemed to be an airflow issue, therefore we had to kill the fire. Other than this, no issues, our stay was spectacular.

The house was as nice as on the pictures, And the view as well. However, we were disappointed about a few things : - Not even 1 water bottle provided upon arrival. - The alarm system functions that was explained to us was very unclear, we didn’t really know how to activate it. And as an alarm system was there we would expect also a very safe and secure door but it wasn’t the case. So we didn’t fully feel safe. - the wifi password that was given to us the first day wasn’t correct, luckily i had a international sim card to contact the host to ask. - there wasn’t any food delivery around, We arrived in the evening , and couldn’t get any food delivery . After traveling the whole day, no water provided by the host + no delivery available - Netlfix app wasn’t working on the TV , The host came to fix it on the 3rd day. -The daily shut down of electricity wasn’t explained to us. (Food can get spoiled in fridge) - some open food was still in the kitchen cupboards from previous guest

This was such a beautiful place to stay. We extended our stay. It’s very private, gorgeous view and central to access the beach and restaurants near by in kalk bay) - wonderful host! He even bought a desk in for us to use for work during our stay. Truly awesome!!
