Kick back and relax in this self contained, calm, stylish space. Everything you need is here for a short or long term stay. Large bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed in the living area if needed. It is quiet and sunny with a deck area for out door dining. Your own bathroom, tea/coffee facilities, and kitchenette. Included work space and generous living/dining area. Very close to airport, university and city centre with local shops only 5 minute walk away. A clean and modern place to stay. Living/dining is 3.0 x 4.0 metres with couch (sofa bed) , TV etc. Bedroom is 4.0 x4.0 metres. It is light and bright with plenty of storage and a desk. Kitchenette has kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric fry pan and induction hotplate and pots pans etc. Tea, coffee, juice and milk provided for when you arrive and breakfast each day.

Perfect for our needs. Great shower, plenty of water pressure. Would stay again when we return to Christchurch.
We only stayed one night at Ian's as we were passing through Christchurch, but we loved it. its a great, comfy space. Ian is extremely friendly and communicative. His guest suite is cute and clean. Loved the small touches like fruit, juice, yogurt. Would stay again!

We live in a leafy suburb on a quiet street in the North West of Christchurch.
There is a large park very close (Jellie Park) with gym, swimming pools and hydro slide. It is also great for a walk with a lake and streams.
Just down the road (5 mins walk) is the local shopping centre with a pub, several restaurants, convenience stores, liquor store, hair dressers, beautician, chemist, bakery, cafe and a variety of places to grab a take away meal.
The accomodation is under 5 km from the airport, 2.5 km to the university and 7 km to the central city.
Getting around is fairly easy: New Zealand is not great for public transport however there are 4 different bus routes within a short walk (I will provide time tables).
If you have your own vehicle there is room for you to park off the street right outside where you will be staying .
