First up - the apartment. Very trendy, very modern, VERY stylish. The photos entirely do it justice and you will like it. It's close to the centre of town and within very easy reach of public transport. It's light and spacious, has lovely big windows and catches the sunshine beautifully. It's a nice place. It's on the third floor and the stairs within the apartment are open at the side and have no handrail. Not a problem if you are young, not so great if you are older. Julien is a great host and very keen to help. Wonderful communication and a nice guy. I'd really have liked to meet him but he couldn't have been more helpful by 'phone and WhatsApp. Highly recommended. Downsides are that it doesn't have WiFi. We assumed that it did, although the advert correctly says that it doesn't. This is a shame, but the mistake was ours. Other small things were a little annoying; the dishwasher was broken and the toilet flush valve didn't work reliably (mentioned in the AirBnB notes.) I Secondly, while the immediate area is quiet you have to walk through some very sketchy bits to get to the centre of town. How sketchy? Big groups of guys hanging around openly doing drugs, posters up telling women to take care when out on their own. Make your own mind up whether you are comfortable with this. Parking isn't that easy either; it's on-street but very busy. Coming back one evening we couldn't find a space near the flat and had to park 10 minutes walk away. Not a huge problem but not the most convenient either, particularly when we had to carry our bags out to the car the following morning. Would we go back? Yes, we probably would. But book with your eyes open.

Julien's house is very cozy and located in a charming neighborhood. The tram is 5 minutes away, which makes transportation very easy. And it has supermarkets and cafeterias very close. Communication with Julien has always been very simple and fast. And he perfectly adapted to our arrival time. The experience has been very positive and I hope to stay at his flat again next year.

Appartement idéalement situé, proche tramway et centre ville. Très propre, meublé avec goût et si calme que l'on a l'impression de ne pas etre en ville ! Julien est toujours dispoible avant et pendant le séjour.

L'appartement est très joli, propre et fonctionnel, tout équipé ce qui facilite grandement le séjour, un peu comme chez soi. Situé dans un quartier calme, on peut vraiment s'y reposer. L'une des fenêtres donne sur l'église et les autres sur les jardins, sans vis-à-vis et c'est très agréable. Le centre est à 20/30 minutes à pieds, des commerces à côté, etc. Tout peut se faire à pied même si on n'est pas directement dans l'hyper centre (d'où l'avantage d'avoir un peu de tranquillité). Le petit jardin est aussi très joli.

Un appartement vraiment superbe, nous avons passé une semaine formidable. Lumineux, fonctionnel et confortable, et Julien a été très disponible et arrangeant. Nous reviendrons !
