Welcome to our centrally located home! The studio w/ private entrance is located within our home. It is bright, airy, and equipped with a mini kitchenette, fridge and queen bed. STR License #5032937 Our home is conveniently located 5 mins away from VIU, Aquatic Center, seawall, NRGH, Downtown, Bowen park, Buttertubs Marsh park, Westwood Lake and Trails. Fyi: There are little feet and 2 fur babies above the suite that you may hear from when they get excited. A studio suite with private bathroom and entrance.

Kathleen was such a great host and graciously accommodated a late shift in my schedule. The space was comfortable and incredibly clean. Amazing water pressure! :D
Had a great stay here! Kat was very responsive and easy to get a hold of if needed. The space was perfect for myself and I would definitely stay here again. Very clean and private space and had everything I needed and more!

Our home is situated in the University District ~in the lovely newer Hawthorne neighborhood. Local Hawthorne park is only a 5 mins walk away.
We are close to many amenities like VIU, Downtown, Old City Quarter, nanaimo parkway, Bowen park, Westwood Lakes and hiking trails.
By car- We are 8 minutes drive from Departure Bay ferry terminal, Hullo (fast ferry) and 6 minutes to the seaplanes (downtown). 3 min to the highway so it’s very convenient to travel and explore the rest of beautiful Vancouver Island.
There is free street parking in front of the house and 4 min walk away is the bus stop located on Wakesiah ave and Stonewater Drive

I am originally from Vancouver, BC but moved to beautiful Vancouver Island during the pandemic with my husband and daughter. I’m proud to be a part of the Airbnb community.
