This was my first time using AirBnB and first time camping since I’ve been a child. This glamping experience was a fantastic way to break the seal without going back to basics, and we still overpacked. The three individual sites are well spaced and we didn’t feel like we were too close to anyone and had plenty of privacy. All on site amenities were great from the personal sink area with cooler and lighting to the cozy kitchen space and covered lounge patio area. I even tried the outdoor shower which was an ultimate first for me. My friend said he’d totally go back to the same spot again! For a holiday weekend the rates were still reasonable as well. Grace and her husband have done a fantastic job building their retreat space and it was such a wonderful respite that we desperately needed. Highly recommend!

I’m not one for writing reviews, but I have to give this property and the hosts the credit they deserve. Let me just say that my 8 year old daughter and I absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to go back! Grace was extremely warm, inviting, hospitable and accommodating as was her sweet, welcoming pup, Baloo. You get a mix of both camping and glamping at Rooted Acres—with the outdoor shower being our absolute favorite! The ambiance and setup is simply amazing overall—it’s so peaceful, serene and homey—something you just really need to experience for yourself. Rooted Acres is secluded, yet super close to all sorts of hiking trails and other well known Jersey beaches, and the best part for us—it’s about 25 minutes away from our absolute favorite beach—Stone Harbor! The hosts go out of their way to provide everything you need and they are doing a terrific job with the expansion—can’t wait to see what it looks like in a couple of years and I wish them the absolute best. 🩵

Such a relaxing time staying in the glamping tent. It was amazing to spend time in nature without having to pack and set up any camping gear. It was like my own retreat down the street!

We stayed in the cabin for the weekend and let me tell you this exceeded every expectation we could ever have! The cabin was beautifully appointed… warm, cozy, clean and comfortable! The property was a dream with beautiful gardens, walking trails, everything you can ask for if you are looking for an outdoor experience with the comforts of home. Our plan was to explore the surrounding area but we decided that we were just not going to leave this beautiful setting. We were treated to a beautiful nighttime sky and a glorious sunrise. If you are looking to spend quality time outdoors with all the comforts of home at a place that will not break the bank this is the place to be! Grace was an extraordinary host making sure we had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze. We will definitely book again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
